Kababir Kababir - a neighborhood that was formerly an Arab village. Kababir is the only settlement in Israel whose residents come from the Ahmadiyya sect of Islam. Its founder, an Indian Muslim, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani of Punjab, India, arrived at the village and persuaded its inhabitants to join the sect.
Muhraka – the Horn of Carmel Horn of the Carmel (in Arabic: "Dir el-Muhraka" - the monastery of the "place of burning") is the second largest place on the Carmel ridge - 497 meters above sea level.
The Bahai Shrine and Hanging Gardens on Mount Carmel Mount Carmel has always been linked with abundance and fertility, as indicated in the meaning of its original name “kerem” (vineyard). Mount Carmel, sacred to Jews and Christians alike, is also well known for its significant importance to the Bahá’ís, and serves as their spiritual and administrative centre.
