The Ben Gurion Thoroughway

Ben Gurion Avenue is a street that accompanies the German Colony and has become one of the special and bustling entertainment strips of the city. Among the stone carved buildings of the German Colony, lie special cafes, restaurants of every taste choice and style, together with gourmet next to pubs with a special atmosphere, shopping centers and the visitor's center of the Haifa Tourist Board. In the evening, the lights of the Baha'i Gardens are lit reflecting a special, visual experience that is a one of a kind in the world, with colored lights from the peak of the Carmel, through the German Colony and extending down to the Haifa Port. It is recommended to do a day and evening tour that includes each special site and its atmosphere.
