The Studio Theater
The Studio Theater - a production house for original theater.
Since September 2005, the location has been used as a fringe theater for young people and the young at heart, called "The Studio" - Production House for Original Theater. Another alternative for Haifa producers in the theater realm.
The Studio is located in the Central Carmel of Haifa in the "Hecht House" (Rothschild). This is an historical building from the time of the German Templars. The building has undergone a massive facelift, both interior and exterior and is surrounded by two large and green gardens. The theater itself is designed in a European Cabaret style, where seating is among round tables with velvet tableclothes. The location operates an active bar where a glass of good wine and cold beer can be ordered (tea or coffee in the winter)...while enjoying the performance. The Studio is open on Thursday's and Saturday evenings, with occaisional performances in the middle of the week.

The Studio hosts the best of fringe theater in Israel, like "Picture", "The Alleyway", "American Zionist House", "Tzavta", "The Laboratory", Acco Theater and others. The best veteran and young actors from around the country come to us in choice performances, caberet shows, quality jazz and dance, together with classical music, ancient music and world music.
