Access: southern entrance – west of the MATAM intersection (Haifa Mall), through Andrei Sakharov Street; northern entrance – (for vehicles not exceeding 2.20 meters in height) through “Maxim” Petrol Station, west of Derech Hayam intersection (through Carmel Beach, along David Elazar Street)
Lifeguard stations: there are 4 lifeguard stations along the beach.
Means of transportation: all busses arriving at the Carmel Beach Central Bus Station, in accordance with the timetables issued by Egged. By train – any train arriving at the Carmel Beach Train Station, named after Saul Raziel.
For handicaps: facilities for the handicapped are available at northern part of Dado Beach, adjacent to the north lifeguard station (no 1). These include reserved parking, fitted showers and bathrooms, and plenty of inclines allowing easy access to and from the beach.
General description:
The beach is known for the gardens situated along its boardwalk, beachside restaurants and coffee shops, free parking, benches and sitting areas, dancing arena, amphitheatre for summer events, sports and play sections and a pool for toddlers.
This beach holds the longest boardwalk, beginning at the southern tip of Dado beach and ending at the northern tip of Carmel Beach.
