The promenade, which was built in 1992 over an area of 400 meters long, is situated along Yefe Nof Street and extends from the Nof Hotel to the upper entrance gate to the Bahá’ís gardens.

The location of the promenade, an area populated with hotels and the Carmel Centre's coffee shops, transforms it into a natural extension of Haifa's tourism avenue.
A ravishing panoramic landscape of the Haifa bay area, the Krayot, Akká, Naharia, Mount Hermon and Rosh Hanikra is visible all along the promenade.

The promenade hosts a mixture of cultivated vegetation which blooms amidst a Mediterranean grove and spacious lawns along side hidden niches, lighting poles, sitting benches and pergolas. The promenade provides an entrance to a large children playground hidden amidst the vegetation, as well as a path to the Kaiser's Monument located at its western tip.
