In the heart of verdant Mount Carmel, throughout the whole year and in its centre you will find the ‘star’ of all its tours, the most attractive one of all in the area known as Farm/Ranch Mishmar ha Carmel (previously known as Chirbat Sha’allah).

The historic Khan building and the surrounding wide open spaces serve as a site where people stay over night, as well as a focal point for departing on trips and as a parking area for people who fancy a day trip in natural surroundings.

Next to the farm are a variety of hiking tracks of different levels of difficulty.

Here we organize activities and end of year events for all types and age ranges – you can also stay overnight here.

The site holds enough room for 500 people to stay overnight. There are also guest rooms for teams, showers, toilets lighting and electricity points, a fully fitted kitchenette, picnic tables, study classes and buffet room.

The farm/ranch is situated on road number 721 – the road which runs between Atlit and Bet Oren – about a kilometer west of Kibbutz Bet Oren – directly at the turning off the Kedumim Junction.
