The Old Turkish Ship
This shallow diving resort, 9 meters deep, can serve as a secondary diving spot after completing a dive around the Ahi Kidon Missile Boat and on the way back to the anchorage in Naharia. The ship's remnants are scattered in the area after it was blown up in the mid 80s, so not to interfere with cruise routes. The wreckage location is very similar to the Italian wreckage site in Haifa. Much like in Haifa, the tanks here are visible, though the perimeter of the site is smaller. In any case, this is a "veteran" location, evident by the amount of oysters accumulated on the wreckage. There are many Pempheris and Sargocentron fish residing in niches, as well as conchs which mostly house hermit crabs.
