Diving in Haifa

Haifa - not just a pretty beach
Haifa, whose name stems from its beautiful beaches, is rich with spectacular diving locations.
The city's image of an industrial town with polluted areas, which have a severe impact on its sea and ecological system, is not evident in the quality and abundance of diving spots found both near its shorelines and deeper in the bay area.
Haifa and its bay indisputably constitute the leading location in the Mediterranean coastline when it comes to quantity and quality of diving spots. This location is known for its unique combination of historical diving spots, beautiful and fascinating natural reefs, as well as sites of sunken vessels from recent years.
During an optimal diving season in the Mediterranean Sea - autumn and beginning of winter - there are many days during which the sea is completely flat and visibility exceeds 20 meters deep, use that to your advantage... it's as being in Eilat.
